Aiguille du Midi cable car and walks near the Cosmique shelter, Chamonix

Шамони, Монблан

Aiguille du Midi is the highest cable car in Europe. There is an ascent only by cable car or along rather difficult climbing routes. And also from it (or rather from the plateau nearby) starts one of the popular routes to the top of Mont Blanc - Three peaks. We already knew that the route could be avalanche-prone now after a storm and with strong winds, but still decided to look at everything with our own eyes and clarify at the Kosmic shelter. They are still closer to the scene of action. And just spending the night at 3500m is not bad.

Гевонт, Закопане

So the second day in Zakopane has come, and with it even better weather! The sun is peeping through, there is no rain – great. And today we are going through the valley of the White Stream and the Chamois rock to the top of Gewont.

Gewont is a whole array. On the long side, the Gewont consists of three main peaks: the Small Gewont (Maly Giewont - 1728 m), the Large Gewont (Wielki Giewont (1895 m) and the Long Gewont (Dlugi Giewont - 1867 m). Most often, by saying Gewont, they mean a Large Gewont on which a 15-meter cross is installed, which can be seen from anywhere in Zakopane, as well as the top itself.

Zakopane, trekking in the Koscieliska Valley, Western Tatras, Poland

закопане, косцелийская долина

The Koscielska Valley is located in Poland and is very popular. And there is something for it – it is not difficult to pass, it is very picturesque, with peaks and lakes, a canyon, and four of the five caves of the Tatras open to the public.

I'll make a reservation in advance, it's worth setting aside the whole day to visit this valley if you want to see the most. But if you don't have that time, then you can just walk back and forth through the valley in 3 hours.

So let's briefly walk along the route that we have planned for ourselves: Kosceliska Valley – Mrozna cave – descent into the valley – Raptavitska cave – Mylna cave – Ornak hiding place – Smrechinski Stav lake – descent through the valley with a visit to the canyon Inside Krakow.
